Bluebonnet Run 2016
The Bluebonnet Run departed from the Buc-ee’s on highway 294 on a beautiful but rather chilly morning. Joe and Karron led a group of eight cars off with Pat and Jane all bundled up in their YLZ E Type roadster, the only open car. After passing through Chappell Hill, Joe turned off to see the most beautiful fields of bluebonnet’s I have ever seen. Back on the road we enjoyed the beautiful scenic “back” roads to the old Baylor historical site to stretch our legs and have the group photo made. Following that it was off to the antique rose garden for another brief stop then on to “R’s place” for a family style barbecue with German potato salad finished off with peach cobbler with Blue Bell ice cream. A most Enjoyable Day!
